Crowned cranes actually live in Africa, but this one was so fun to paint that it came to visit where the blue herons live - in the wetlands of New York and New Jersey. Lots of animals love to live in watery places; you can find all kinds of frogs and dragonflies there. Beautiful water lilies grow right in the water, too!
